Eva Hoefs, an artist from the Netherlands, has a dual passion: creating stunning visuals and driving her Ford Fiesta MK6 ST. While she’s captivated by classic Mustangs and dreams of one day owning a Ford GT, her current pride and joy is her red Fiesta, which holds a special place in her heart.
Eva’s fascination with Ford began with the sleek and powerful Mustang, but practicality led her to the equally dynamic Fiesta MK6 ST. “It might not be a Mustang, but it’s my perfect match,” she shares. Since May 2022, Eva has been exploring Europe in her “little beast,” forging memories and friendships along the way.
Her love for cars doesn’t stop at driving—Eva is deeply immersed in the Ford culture. “I’ve always been drawn to the creativity and passion in the community,” she says. “Whether it’s modding cars or attending events, there’s always something new to learn.”
Eva’s Fiesta isn’t just a daily driver; it’s a reflection of her personality. Sporting a Maxton Design diffuser and front splitter, her car is already turning heads. But Eva’s plans go beyond aesthetics. “My next big project is adding a turbo,” she reveals. “It’s going to bring a whole new level of excitement to my drives.”
She’s also on the hunt for parts to restore and upgrade her beloved Fiesta, such as a grille, bumper, side panel, and clear headlights—all preferably in her signature red. For Eva, the process of building and customizing her car is as thrilling as driving it.
Eva’s Fiesta has taken her on incredible journeys across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. One of her proudest moments? Tackling the Nürburgring’s infamous Green Hell. “I may not be the fastest driver, but completing the Nürburgring in about 12-13 minutes was a dream come true,” she says.
Another standout adventure was attending the European Ford Event, where she marveled at unique builds, including a Sierra with a Toyota engine. “It gave me some wild ideas,” she jokes.
Last November, Eva faced one of her biggest challenges: a crash that damaged her Fiesta. But her connection with the car ran too deep to let it go. “Repairing it was a no-brainer,” she explains. “It was tough emotionally, but it made our bond even stronger.” Today, her Fiesta is back on the road, ready for more adventures.
For Eva, being part of the Ford community is about more than just cars. “The camaraderie is incredible,” she says. As a co-host of @fordsquadnl, Eva plays an active role in organizing meet-ups and fostering connections between enthusiasts. “Everyone is so supportive, whether you need advice on repairs or just want to share your latest mod.”
From casual gatherings to large-scale events, Eva’s experiences highlight the inclusiveness and passion that define the Ford community. “It’s a brotherhood like no other,” she adds.
While Eva’s Fiesta serves as her daily driver, she’s always looking ahead. Her dream garage includes a classic Mustang and the ultimate Ford GT. But for now, she’s content with her little red car. “Every time I get behind the wheel, it brings a smile to my face,” she says. “It’s not just about getting from point A to point B—it’s about the joy of the journey.”
Eva’s Fiesta is a vessel of cherished memories, from fun road trips to heartfelt moments like driving her dog on their final journey together. “That car has seen it all,” she reflects. And while she loves hitting the open road, she’s just as excited about reconnecting with friends at car meet-ups. “Throwback to the @fordsquadnl meet,” she fondly recalls, “when both my red beauties were shining side by side.”
One of her wildest experiences? A spontaneous day of drifting on dirt roads. “It was pure fun,” she laughs. “The Fiesta loved it, and so did I.”
Eva’s story is one of passion, resilience, and community. Whether she’s chasing down her next mod, exploring new roads, or dreaming of Mustangs and GTs, her love for Ford continues to drive her forward. “Owning a Ford is more than just having a car—it’s being part of something bigger,” she says.
