For Jacob Hewitt, cars have always been part of the family. Growing up in Portsmouth, his passion for Fords began when his dad owned an Escort RS Turbo. Now, Jacob channels that legacy into his own build—a 2011 Zetec 1.6 TDCi Titanium. Working in a warehouse, Jacob’s passion for cars is fueled by his determination to craft something unique on the streets.
Jacob’s Ford journey started with his Zetec as a basic stock model, but he had a vision for something much more aggressive and street-worthy. Inspired by @s2lgx, whom he met when his car was still standard, Jacob decided to push his project to the next level.
Building this car hasn’t always been easy. One of the most significant obstacles was dealing with rust. Jacob spent countless hours drilling out bolts to overcome the challenge, but his perseverance paid off.
Jacob’s journey hasn’t just been about the car—it’s also about the community. Through his build, he’s made countless friends who share his passion. Meeting @s2lgx was a pivotal moment that pushed him to “go all out” with his own car.
Jacob lives the Ford life daily, and his Zetec S has become a conversation starter among other Ford owners. Being recognized by other Fiesta enthusiasts has been one of the most rewarding aspects of his build.
Jacob’s next big step? An engine swap to boost performance even further. He’s keeping his options open but is determined to keep pushing the limits of his build.
