A Life Full of Fords

Some people find Ford. For others, Ford finds them. For Roberto Marcellino, better known as Skybluemk4, it was love from the very start. His journey began back in 2005 with a humble Fiesta MK4, and today he proudly owns three Fords: a 2021 Focus MK4 Tuning, a 2019 EcoSport, and a classic 1994 Escort Cabriolet.

Sempre avuto Ford,” he shares proudly. His passion for cars blossomed in childhood, fueled by a lifelong love of engines and speed.

While he works as an operator in a multinational microchip company, his heart beats strongest behind the wheel.

Meet the Star: The 2021 Ford Focus MK4 Tuning “Skybluemk4”

Built to turn heads, Roberto’s Focus MK4 is pure show car perfection. With countless hours invested, it stands out across Europe—and he’s just getting started.

Significant Mods Include:

  • 19” Avus Racing AC-M09 Anthracite Wheels with 235/40 19 tires (officially homologated)
  • Defap and custom downpipe
  • Fully dynamic LED lighting system (front and rear) — a one-of-a-kind setup in Europe
  • Underbody LED lights
  • Custom quad-tip handcrafted exhaust
  • Direct air intake and sport filter
  • Stage 2 remap, boosting performance to 160hp

Despite retaining the original suspension, Roberto’s Focus delivers serious visual impact and technical punch thanks to his precision upgrades.

“The biggest challenge?” he says, “Finding the dynamic front lights. It was a real mission—but I made it happen!”

Daily Passion, Club Life, and Future Dreams

Cars aren’t just a hobby for Roberto; they’re a way of life, second only to family. He’s a proud member of Ford Catania and Gear Club, where he regularly meets other enthusiasts who share his vision.

His advice for new builders?
“Le modifiche vanno fatte sempre con calma e tranquillità. Mai correre.”
(“Modifications must always be done calmly and patiently. Never rush.”)

Looking ahead, Skybluemk4 has big plans:

  • Installing even more underbody LEDs
  • Fitting a ST-style grille
  • Continuing cosmetic enhancements

His ultimate goal? To make his Focus MK4 a showstopper like no other.

Staying True to the Ford Spirit

Roberto faced minor hurdles—like wheel homologation—but for the most part, his passion paved the way.
The most rewarding part?

“Renderla unica al mondo con le modifiche fatte.”
(“Making it unique in the world with the modifications done.”)

Through it all, he stays motivated by the vibrant Ford community, and leaves the Ford Fam with a heartfelt message:

“Siete fantastici. Grazie per aver pubblicato le mie foto. Ho tanti altri lavori da eseguire ed altre auto da farvi vedere.”
(“You are fantastic. Thank you for publishing my photos. I have many more works to show and other cars to share with you.”)
