Claudia’s life took an unexpected turn in 2022 when she lost her partner and high school sweetheart, David. It was a devastating blow, but Claudia found strength in her love for cars, a passion she and David had shared. Midnight Shego, the car David had encouraged her to buy, became a beacon of hope and a symbol of resilience.
“Every modification, every mile—it’s like David’s still with me,” Claudia shares.
Since purchasing her Ford Focus ST, Claudia has poured her heart and soul into transforming it into Midnight Shego, a car that reflects her bold personality and unique style.
Current Modifications Include:
Performance Upgrades: Stage 1 tune, Injen intake, Mishimoto intercooler, Woosh Motorsports turbo inlet.
Exterior Enhancements: Seibon carbon fibre hood, Stark Forged wheels, Velossa Tech big mouth intake, and neon green accents inspired by the infamous Shego from Kim Possible.
Future Plans: Claudia plans to explore further engine tuning and possibly upgrade her exhaust system for a more aggressive sound.
“Midnight Shego is a reflection of my personality—bold, unique, and a little rebellious,” Claudia laughs.
Claudia’s connection to the Ford community runs deep. As a member of groups like @fordsquadnl, @financially.irresponsible_, and @btm.carcrew, she’s found a network of friends who share her passion.
“Ford Fam isn’t just about cars; it’s about people,” Claudia explains. “We lift each other up, celebrate wins, and support each other through tough times.”
Claudia also gives back to the community by collaborating with brands like JBR, TB Performance Products, and Vega Motorworks, sharing her experiences and insights to inspire other enthusiasts.
For Claudia, Midnight Shego has been a source of countless unforgettable moments. From road trips across Texas to attending meets like the European Ford Event and co-hosting with @atx_car_meets, each experience adds to her journey.
One particularly proud moment was hitting 70,000 miles in August 2023. “Every mile is a story,” Claudia says. “Shego has taken me places I never thought I’d go—both literally and figuratively.”
Claudia’s journey isn’t just about cars; it’s about healing and growth. She uses her platform to advocate for mental health awareness, sharing her struggles and triumphs to encourage others.
“Losing David taught me how precious life is,” she reflects. “I want others to know they’re not alone, and it’s okay to seek help.”
Through her posts, Claudia has created a space where followers feel supported and inspired, proving that even in the darkest times, there’s a path forward.
Looking ahead, Claudia plans to continue refining Midnight Shego while expanding her presence in the car community. Her dream? To one day build a track car and take her passion for driving to the next level.
But for now, she’s focused on enjoying the ride. “Every time I get behind the wheel, it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come,” Claudia says. “This journey is just getting started.”
