From the city streets of Mexico to the thriving Ford community online, Lenxdiv has built more than just a car—he’s crafted a story. His 2016 Ford Focus ST, affectionately named “Foco” (Spanish for “Light Bulb”), represents not just power and performance, but identity, pride, and progress.
The Spark of a Passion
For Lenxdiv, the love for Ford isn’t just about the badge—it’s about what it represents. “Ford doesn’t just build cars; it creates lifelong companions,” he shares. That connection started early, inspired by icons like Henry Ford, Carroll Shelby, Ken Block, and Paul Walker. As a mechanical engineer, he doesn’t just admire these machines—he speaks their language, building and tuning with knowledge and care.
From Daily Driver to Statement Piece
The Focus ST platform gave him the ideal base to shape something bold. “Every upgrade, every adjustment, is part of my story,” he says. And that story comes to life through mods like a 3” intake and exhaust, blow-off valve, a stronger wastegate actuator, wheel spacers, SYNC 3 upgrade, and even FORScan-tuned hidden features—pops, bangs, and all.
Running a Stage 2 tune and custom setups from Stratified, JST Performance, and Monster Tuned, “Foco” now makes 340–350 horsepower and 430–440 lb-ft of torque. That’s good for sub-6-second 0–60 sprints and high-13-second quarter miles. It’s not just fast—it’s smart, refined, and built with precision.
Track-Worthy Handling with Daily Personality
The build isn’t all about raw power. Bilstein shocks and carefully added wheel spacers sharpen the Focus’s already agile chassis. Braking is upgraded with cross-drilled rotors and Brembo pads, helping tame the newfound speed on every canyon run or car meet cruise.
Despite the build’s depth, one of the biggest hurdles wasn’t mechanical—it was balancing time, money, and the learning curve. “It was tough, but driving something I built makes it all worth it.”
Rooted in Community
Lenxdiv lives and breathes car culture daily. He’s active in Focus ST forums, car meets, and a local club called FWS. Whether sharing his experience or attending events, his goal is the same: connection.
A favorite memory? Showing the car alongside his brother at a meet, seeing kids and adults light up when they saw “Foco.” It reminded him of his younger self, attending shows with his dad and dreaming of this very moment.
Always Looking Ahead
The future for this Focus is bright. Plans include an upgraded intercooler and possibly a hybrid turbo. But beyond parts and power, Lenxdiv wants to keep creating content and connect with more enthusiasts. “Eventually, I’d love a full restoration or track-focused build—but for now, I’m loving the journey.”
Advice for the Ford Fam
“Take your time, do your research, and enjoy the process,” he urges. “Every step is part of your story. Stay humble, keep learning, and always share the passion.”
A Message to the Community
“To me, being part of the Ford Fam is more than owning a car — it’s belonging to a legacy,” Lenxdiv says. “We all come from different places, with different dreams, but inside the car — we speak the same language.”
