“When I saw the trophy for Best Modified RS, it was surreal,” James recalls. “It’s a team effort, though. My clubmates, my supporters—they’ve all been part of this journey.”

Powered by a five-cylinder turbocharged Volvo engine, the car features Mountune’s MR375 package, including a high-flow induction kit, upgraded intercooler, and a full Milltek exhaust system. While the car show season may be on pause for now, James is already gearing up for the next big event. “It’s been a great year, but I’m always looking forward to the next show with the squad,” he says. His Mk2 RS will also undergo further refinements, ensuring it remains a standout in the Ford scene.
And as for future aspirations? “Maybe one day, I’ll add a Mk1 Escort to the collection,” he muses. “But for now, the Focus RS is my pride and joy.”
